West Virginia Strong Summer Food Assistance Programs

The Harrison County Senior Center will be a distribution site for the Senior Summer Feeding Program.  This program includes seniors age 60+, spouses of seniors age 60+, disabled persons living in a household with a senior age 60+, and children living in a household with a senior age 60+.  A box with 5 shelf stable meals will be provided to each qualifying participant.  For example, a household consisting of a senior 60+, spouse, and two grandchildren would qualify for 4 boxes.  Boxes will be available for pickup on a weekly basis. 

For more information on the Senior Summer Feeding Program, please call (304) 623-6795.  A photo id, date of birth, name, address, and phone number will be required.  To avoid any traffic congestion, pick-up times will be scheduled by appointment.  Appointments will be available on Tuesday mornings between 8:30am and 11:30am beginning June 16th.  The program will run through August 31st
